The Multi-Purpose Plane was designed to offer several different planes in one tool: surface plane, rabbet plane to make grooves and go into edges, bull-nose plane, radial plane and specialty planes for all types of plastic and Formica. It also functions as a linoleum cutter and scraper. The greatest advantage of the Multi-Purpose Plane is that it uses special interchangeable ice hardened industrial blades that never need sharpening. The plane operates at a 27 degree angle which provides a clean cut in materials like plywood, balsa, polystyrene, etc.
